Hi, my name is June Cargill, Im an Ofsted judged Outstanding, experienced and degree qualified Registered Childminder with over 20 years experience, mum to three and 2 grandchildren. I made the decision to remain open during the current pandemic and still offer a covid secure setting
I have an immediate vacancy due to the change of circumstances of one of my long term parents
I offer an extremely high quality but competitively priced service to parents and carers. I am registered with Ofsted. I am located just off East Prescot Road, Knotty Ash/ Old Swan area. I concentrate my skills within the early years foundation stage (0-4) so currently do not offer a school pick up service.
I offer Free childcare places for 2 year olds who are eligible and offer the extended 30 (or 15 wrap around) hours free childcare in for 3 and 4 year olds
I am proud to offer a setting that is inclusive to all children, parents and families, abiding by my comprehensive equal opportunities and inclusion policies, promoting diversity in all areas of daily life.
I have added a Degree in Early Intervention and Parent Support to my Level 4 and 3 in Childcare, Learning and Development. Contactable written and verbal references available.
I offer homemade healthy meals (lunches are hot cooked meals) which are made with seasonal, local and organic where possible. I work with parents during weaning and aim for children to receive five a day of the recommended fruit and veg and day with at least 1/3rd of a pint of milk daily (full menu available) I also use free range and sustainable ingredients when possible.

I was one of the first to receive a Liverpool Early Years Chartered award which further enhances my setting for quality. I attend regular training, workshops and refresher training throughout the year to sustain quality and best practices for parents. I worked part time when my children were small and have management qualifications/experience
I regularly replace, update and buy additional resources to enhance the play, learning and development of the children in my care, indoors and daily outdoor play and experiences. I promote equality and inclusion. I have a photo gallery to show parents/carers my setting in more detail.
Days out include Chester Zoo, Martin Mere Wetland Centre, New Brighton, Museums and out of area country parks and places of interest
I have a large garden and 7 seater transport for days and visits out. EYFS is an integral part of my service. I am located in 2 min walk from Queens Drive and East Prescot Road, 5 min walk from Broadgreen and Alder Hey Hospital and on bus routes to and from the city centre.
My Experience
I am flexible and reliable with 20 years experience with recent newborn and early years experience. I can offer breastfeeding support, I also have management qualifications which allow me to offer a professional service to parents.
I have current experience of under 1 year olds and update my knowledge on latest best practises e.g. making/store formula feeds, breastfeeding support, weening and child development. I attend regular training, workshops and early years conferences
I offer the Nursery Education Grant which is 15 hours free childcare for 2, 3 and 4 year olds or 30 hours including 15 hours wrap around for qualifying families.
I am a member of PACEY and my local Childminding network.
I have worked two years within a childrens centre as a childminder coordinator and worked as a manager within a large well known communication company when I childminded part time.
I will negotiate my normal opening and closing times to accommodate parents who work shift or rota patterns. I am happy to give support and further information to parents and carers looking for quality and affordable childcare.

My Fees
- Childminding from £4.00 per hour
Contact me for full details of my fees and availability or to arrange a visit with no obligation. I have a comprehensive parent pack which can be sent via email, post, I am happy to chat with parents on all aspects of childcare with no obligation.
I offer reduced rates for siblings and full time attendances. All meals, snacks and drinks are included in my fees, I also do not charge for days out.
I accept all childcare vouchers and registered in readiness for the new government childcare scheme

I found June through childcare.co.uk I had to go back to work after 6 months maternity and I wanted someone who looks after my son as my mom would have done it. June did an excellent job I received daily report what my little one was doing, eating, how much he was sleeping etc. She sent pictures and text messages which made my go back to work much easier.June helped us a lot with weaning, toilet training and she became part of our family. My son is bilingual and she made a great effort to help him with both languages. My son is 4 now started nursery in Sept 2018 and we got great feedback about his development. He is still going back to June in school holidays if he can and he is going there like he is going home. He loves June, she was the best choice I ever made.
