About Me
Firstly thank you for taking the time to read about myself, I'm a out going mummy who enjoys meeting new people and experiencing new things. I have one child in my care already and we like going to different groups and meetings other babies, parents and nannys. I work in a special needs school three days a week as well as working a saturday with mencap where I am project manager. Im hoping to find a family who want someone four or five days a week.
I am a reliable and passionate person and love going to soft play and doing lots of things to help the childrens/ babys development and would love to help yours too! I enjoy going to different outings and like taking the children in my care on play dates. If the family I work with would like me to do anything imperticula with their child then I will do that also. I always try to fit myself around the family. I am very chatty and out going and always try to build good relationships with those I work for and with.
I also have my own daughter who is 6. I am looking for a family who do not mind her being with me at times if my partner is at work. She is a very friendly and is used to being around other children and babies.
My Experience
I used to work in a special needs school in Mitcham so I have a DBS and have worked there five years. I have worked from primary up to sixth form so have experience with all ages. I also work with Mencap with children and adults so again the children are all ages. I know makaton and how to use pecs ect.
I also used to nanny for a 11 year old with very complex medical issues, a 4 year old who was auusric and had epilepsy a 5 year old who was blind and autistic. I am currently working shifts bit I am looking for ad hoc work. Mainly babysitting and covering sickness should I not be working.
I also have a level 3 in assisting teaching and learning and have passed level 3 in assisting with speech, language and communication skills.
I have given emergency meds for epilepsy and am comfident in my ability to handle situation.I have had training at school on epi pens and other form of mediacation. whilst I work at my two current jons my training on these will be up to date.
My Qualifications
I have a level 3 in asssiting teaching and learning and I recently got my level 3 in speech and language.
My Availability
As I say I am now a mummy my self and therefore my daughter may need to come along. I think this is nice as if they are a similar age they can play and learn from each other. I am available for baby sitting and looking after a child in the day time. I am flexible so if there is a times iv not stated please ask me. I would leave my part time school role for the right nanny role.
