About Me
Hello! My name is Gina and I am an Ofsted Registered Childminder. I love my job! I live in Barnham with my husband Tony. I have 3 grown up children and 2 grown-up step-children. I moved to this beautiful part of the country 5 years ago and we love getting out and about to the seaside and countryside.
My Experience
With over 25 years experiences a Childminder, I am registered with Ofsted, fully insured and hold a Paediatric First Aid certificate. I hold a Level 3 Diploma in Early Years Childcare and Education and I have studied many aspects of childcare and education.
I believe that by tailoring my care of your child to his or her individual, unique needs, he will develop and thrive; by providing a loving and stimulating environment for him, he will feel safe, valued and confident and will play and learn; and by working closely with parents I hope to make the daily transition between your home and my home easy, calm and happy.
I received "Good" at my most recent Ofsted Inspection and I have experience of caring for children with a range of disabilities and learning needs. My practice follows the Government’s Early Years Foundation Stage framework, to achieving the Development Matters Outcomes.
My Qualifications
Level 3 Childcare and Education
Montessori influenced practice.
ASD training and experience
Wide ranging special needs experience.
Paediatric First Aid
Food Hygiene Level 2
Safeguarding Level 3
Heueristic Play Certificate
Hons Degree History.
My Availability
I am available Mon-Fri 8am-5.30pm but other times can be discussed. I am open all year round but do offer term-time only contracts too. I am registered to offer the 15 hours and the 30 hours funded hours entitlement.
I have a full-time and a part-time vacancy available.

My Fees
- Childminding from £5.00 per hour
I charge a day rate and a half-day rate and this includes all food, snacks, all outings and activities and all supplies except nappies and formula.
I am registered to take the Government 15 hours and the 30 hours funded hours. I have registered with the new Government tax-free Childcare scheme, as well as with many employer childcare voucher schemes, e.g. Edenred, Computershare.
