I am an OUTSTANDING Ofsted registered child minder, a member of the National Child Minding Association and also a member of the 'Children Come First' child minding network. I provide excellent care in a clean and spacious home environment.
I live in a spacious four bedroom semi-detached house with a beautiful garden in a popular Dartford residential area.
I am a mother of 3 brilliant and hard working children aged between 17 and 26.
My Experience
I have 18 years experience as a child minder and my setting has been inspected and rated as OUTSTANDING by Ofsted.
I have looked after a range of children with varying needs and from a range of backgrounds. This has given me insight and skills that help me to understand, support and develop the children whilst they are in my care.
I am highly rated by the parents who use and have used my setting and have very good references from previous parents (see reviews below).
My Qualifications
I have all the necessary qualifications needed to be a registered child minder and regularly attend training and development events and meetings to refresh and update my knowledge in the child care field.

My Fees
- Childminding from £6.50 per hour
Fees are subject to hours and days required. From £6.50 per hour. I offer up to 30 hours FREE child care to eligible parents for their 2, 3 & 4 year olds. Also offer up to 30 hours funding for working families for their 9 months old to 4 years olds.

Sheila looked after my son since he was 11 months old and I could not ask for a better caregiver for him. He has developed and flourished since being with her. He has never been sent home sick as her setting is so clean. He eats well and loves her variety of homemade food. Big thank you to Sheila for everything and looking after our little man 🙏🏼.

My baby is two years, old with sickle cell anaemia. Sheila, have been looking after him for over a year now, and he is never been unwell. My son is very happy and active. The environment is calm, welcoming, warm, spotless, clean. The food just like secondary school dinners, is delicious. I can highly recommend this amazing, God-fearing, great personality lady to everyone. She is excellent in communication, she played a massive role in my recovery from my depression. My baby is safe, and hardly has a runny nose. I am forever grateful finding this lady on this site.
Note: she has no clue that I am doing this review. I can keep going, if I have all day.

Sheila looked after my daughter for over two years. It took a while for my daughter to settle but Sheila was very patient and displayed such care towards her. My daughter loved going there, Sheila's setting was very welcoming and she loved playing with the other children. Not only did Sheila care for my daughter's well being, she also sought to ensure she received a great educational experience. If your looking for a childminder who is caring, patient and reliable - Sheila is definitely the person for you!

My son was looked after by Sheila for over a year. She is amazing with so much heart and caring mindset. It was wonderful to see my son get excited about going to her setting.
Sheila really makes an effort to engage the kids and develop them in a very individualised way.
The setting is a safe, fun, and loving environment and we’re very thankful to Sheila for her outstanding work.

I cannot speak more highly of Sheila. She took such amazing care of my youngest child. She goes above and beyond and her setting is a child’s paradise. The warm, stable environment and love she provided really helped prepare my daughter for starting school and we will certainly be keeping in touch!

Sheila has been looking after my kids for the last few years and she has been absolutely amazing! Kids just love her and I feel reassured that a kind and trustworthy person is looking after them! I strongly recommend her for the care of the little ones!!

We have been with Sheila for several years where she has cared for our 2 children. Sheila is professional yet warm, kind and firm when required. Her setting is always clean and presentable and she actively provides stimulating learning and fun activities for the children to participate in. Her flexibility is an asset.
At no point have I ever been worried about the children, as Sheila is cautious and safe. Having that peace of mind as a working parent is priceless!! My son swears by her jollof rice too, its great!

She not only embraced my 3 years old but also my 8 years old and myself. More than a childminder, more like family. Her children are as amazing, any child will feel comfortable in Sheila's home.
Only reason we had to leave Sheila is because we moved counties. We all miss her dearly and will recommend her any day.

It's a pleasure dear, I'm missing you and the boys too.
Sheila looked after our daughter Joella for almost 2 years. Our daughter was well looked after .we had no concerns. We are very lucky that we found Sheila .She is simply the best! She welcomed our daughter and treated her like family. She makes all the children feel so welcomed / sense of belonging, that has helped our daughter with her confidence and development esp being there with other children young and old and it’s really nice seeing her with them all and creating such wonderful bonds. She regularly updates us with her progress and recent activities through face to face , progress tracking book and whatsapp .She has a range of activities/toys and took our daughter places such as to playgroups.. Sheila was also very flexible and reliable. She had on so many occasions helped us when my husband got stuck in traffic from work.
We have never had any doubt about our daughter's safety when she was with Sheila. We would highly recommend Sheila to anyone who is looking for trusthworthy and reliable childminder . Thanks for everything Sheila.

Sheila K has been caring for both our children for a few years now. Even when my 3 year old was away for an interim he fondly remembered her and had no adjustment issues when he returned.
She offers a friendly and professional warm caring environment to the children in her care and provides freshly prepared nutritious meals.
The care offered is to a very high standard and I highly recommend this setting.
