Hello and thank you for considering me for your tuition requirements!
I am a qualified teacher and Head of Department currently working at an Outstanding Ofsted rated Secondary School.
My experience of private tuition and teaching spans 7 years both in the UK and internationally, ensuring my practices are comprehensive and effective.
I hold University degree qualifications, as well as multiple teaching certifications. At present I also work as an English Examiner for the examination board AQA; allowing me to fully comprehend and support students with the demands of these milestones.
I am able to accommodate KS3, KS4 and KS5 students in the subjects of English and Law under any specification or exam board.
My Experience
My approach to tutoring is always personalised in order to promote progress not just academically but personally as well. My aim is to build confidence, cultivate an enjoyment of learning and galvanise a love of knowledge acquisition.
Initially, I will assess students and discuss goals, strengths and areas for improvement.
In relation to GCSE students, I have a wealth of understanding of all exams boards including Edexcel, AQA, OCR and IGCSE. As well as this, i have experience prepping students for the 11+ exam and the 13+ exam. I always send resources/materials for sessions ahead of time if requested.

- 2 years international teaching experience (TEFL)
My Availability
Mostly after school hours but flexible also!
