About Me
I am an Ofsted registered and first aid trained childminder based in Colindale, London.
I have many activities available for the children in my care such as: mark making, play dough, cooking, musical instruments, rhymes & songs, dressing up, painting, puzzles, books, baby toys and more. I also have many educational resources and arrange many age-appropriate educational activities for the children to ensure they develop effectively. During my care I will be planning child specified activities and evaluating specific child developments according to the non-statutory guidance on 'Development matters in the Early Years Foundation Stage' document. This weekly evaluation of the child's development will be discussed with the parent. I will ensure to work hand in hand with parents to allow the child the best opportunities for development both during my care and out of my care through home suggestions to enhance development.
The children in my care will also benefit from daily outings to playgrounds, libraries, trips to museums and more.
Parents are welcome to provide their own food for the child however food can be provided upon request. A weekly menu will be shared with the parent. I am currently undergoing a food hygiene course.
I provide parents with images of children for both assessment and observational use. I also keep a diary of the child to share with the parents which includes; what the child eats, activities the child undertakes, nappy changing times, and sleeping routines.
I am close to Queensbury tube station and Burnt Oak tube station.

I am an experienced childminder. I have worked with various children allowing my experience to grow. I have also gained experience through raising 5 children of my own who are grown up now. my youngest child is 17

my son has been in the care of farishta since he was 9 months l have never had to worry about anything regarding my son while she was in her care she took good care of him and as a busy mummy fatarisha took it upon herself to play the role of a mom rather than a childminder my son has learnt a lot and still learning. under her care. my son has grown in her care she is well experienced and very flexible l have not had any issues, l would recommend her services a thousand times l can nor praise her enough

Farishta is an amazing childminder. My eldest daughter has been going to her on and off for nearly 2 years now and I have never been given the chance to complain. She is attentive and extremely friendly to both myself and my children. Her family is very friendly and welcoming which makes it easier to drop off the kids. Very happy with the service provided. She is extremely flexible and also never fails to communicate back with me. She sends regular pictures with my consent to me which makes me feel at ease when leaving the kids to go to work. I couldn’t fault her care in any way!

Farishta is a great childminder. She looks after my daughter like her own and sends a daily videos/pics of activities with my daughter. Farishta has been looking after my daughter for over 3 months and she gets on well with my 1 year old daughter.
Its a shame I just moved from the area and now have to look for another childminder.
I will really miss her ??
