Hi people, I'm Melissa.
Thank you for looking at my profile. I'm looking for work to start in May 2024 within 15 min drive of Horrabridge, Devon.

I have worked with children for 14 years, in many settings inc unschooling family nanny, home Ed nanny, forest school assistant, bushcraft camp teaching assistant, VIP live in private nanny and more.

I now have a little one of my own, she will be 2 years old in April. My available hours can be worked out together, ideally for me it would be mornings until early afternoon but I can also do afternoons if needed. I am still searching for a forest school who will take 2 year old in the area but until I do she would be with us too. I hope that is an attribute to make it social and fun for the children together. I have experience of 6 children in my care at once so this is comfortable for me.
She is really in love with music and dance. very gentle with other children and animals.

We love being outdoors in the wild or country side. but also going to forest schools and music and dance playgroups which I'm more than happy to go with your child too if they like certain groups, I can take them. I have full clean drivers licence.

I go with hand in hand style of parenting also aware parenting I follow. But can also adapt to your style for your own child if necessary.

To get a feel for what I'm about... I enjoy foraging, psychology, car boot sales, festivals, travel, reading, walking, dancing.

In terms of learning /education im most into Montessori and democratic schooling.

I have experience making meals with many different intolerances and diets. I follow organic, local, seasonal diet and I am also experienced with naturopathic style of health and first aid so happy to adopt these things in too if needed.
