About Me
Hi, my name is Mel and I am an Ofsted registered childminder. I live with my husband and our two children in Sompting, near Worthing. We live in a spacious three bedroom house in a quiet close with our own enclosed garden. We are just a short walk to Sompting Primary and are also very close to the A27- ideal for commuters.
I provide a loving home from home environment, offering activities and experiences planned for your child's interests. I take children out into the local community, to toddler groups, the library, rhyme time and parks. At home activities include artwork, cooking, sensory play, construction, playdough and playing in our mud kitchen!
My Experience
I have been a qualified nursery nurse for 20 years, working in a range of settings including a crèche, nurseries, a school and as a private nanny. I have a lot of professional experience and qualifications and also understand how hard it is to be a working parent.
My Qualifications
I have a Btec National Diploma in nursery nursing, a BA (HONS) in Early Years andhol d Early Years Teacher Status. I have also completed paediatric first aid, food hygiene and safeguarding courses.
My Availability
My core hours are 8am - 6pm, but I may be flexible on this- please contact me for more info.

My Fees
- Childminding from £6.50 per hour
I charge £6.50 an hour. This is a fully inclusive rate - I provide food, drinks, nappies, activities etc in this price. I also have some sessions available for the government funded hours for 2,3 & 4 year olds.
