Lady Allen Adventure Playground (Play-worker) (2015 – November 2018)

• Creating a safe environment for children to play and express themselves
• Fostering strong, trust-based relationships with individual children, and caring for children on a one-one
basis

Scamps Breakfast Club (Play-worker) (March 2017 – July 2017)

• Engaging in and creating activities that promote learning, curiosity and fun

Energy Kidz (After School Play-worker) (April 2017 – September 2017)

• Being creative in play and making up games for all the children to get involved in

• Being the diplomat to resolve things when a child would have an argument with another child

Carer for elderly woman with Alzheimer's Disease (January 2019 – March 2020)

• Assisting her by feeding her food that was too difficult to eat by herself
• Musical therapy - playing piano, guitar and singing songs to her which she really enjoyed
• Taking her on walks in the local park and around the care home gardens
• Encouraging her to speak and express herself through conversation

Protocol Education (Agency work in various nurseries) (January 2019 – September 2019)

• Filling in shifts for various nurseries around my area that needed extra help
• Assisting the nursery nurses with:
• The children’s mealtimes
• Reading the children stories
• Taking the children to the toilet when requested by a permanent member of staff
• Helping out with nap time
• Engaging in play activities with the children such as sports, reading, playing in sandpit, painting,
play dough etc.


Strengths

I'm really passionate about creating strong and lasting relationships in which the child can feel safe when parents need to be elsewhere. I want to be able to complement and act alongside the hard work that you do as a loving parent.

I have a strong emotional intelligence, and always approach childcare with the child's perspective at the forefront of my mind. I want to understand and encourage; not dictate.

As a creative individual, I would love to help your child find their own passion; be it music, art, cooking, writing or reading stories - and help them express and create. I'm also happy to assist in homework tasks, providing the support they need to solve problems gradually for themselves.

I don't have a car, but am more than happy to walk and use public transport to take your children to appointments and play dates, or even on outings if you would like.

11 GCSEs, A* - C grade

3 A-levels, B - C grade

Undergraduate BMus, 2.1

My Availability

I am very flexible in my hours during the week, and also have some weekend availability if needed!

My Fees

• Babysitting from £10.00 per hour
