This job will start in from April/May 2025 depending on your availability

We have a 7 year old daughter and a 8 year old son.

We are in need of a babysitter for 2 consecutive evenings every 8 days, this means that the days will move forward by one day every week eg:

Tues/Weds, then the next week Weds/Thurs, following week Thurs/Fri, next week Fri/Sat, Sat/Sun, Sun/Mon etc etc etc

The shift pattern is continuous and entirely predictable, so you will always know when you are working. It is therefore easy to plan holidays etc. We are looking for someone who we can regularly depend on to cover the babysitting sessions.
It does occasionally include weekends and public holidays, for which we are willing to pay an enhanced rate. We are offering £12ph for weekdays and £14ph for weekends and public holidays.

The core hours we require childcare are 6-9.30 pm, on the very odd occasion there may be slightly longer hours.

You will be looking after our children between the times that I leave for my night shift, and my husband returns from his.

The duties would be to put the children to bed around 7.30pm and then mind them until my husband returns. It will also be necessary to collect the children from clubs on Thursday evenings.

If our shift falls over a weekend we would occasionally ask if you would like to do an extra morning session, but that is optional and only if you happened to be free to accommodate it.
