About Me

**Summer Holiday Jobs Needed!**

Hello!

I am 26 and living in Catford.

Loving life as a first time mum but also excited to continue with nannying. I am open to part time/day care roles (Monday to Friday 10am til 2pm), as well available for after school care roles (Thursday and Fridays from 3/4pm). My son is currently 4 years old and starting reception in September (Prendergast Ladywell School), which means i’ll be collecting him everyday at 3pm - if your child goes to the same school then I can collect altogether, if you’re only local to the school then I will require flexibility for this time.

Currently doing a before school role on Mondays to Fridays - I start at their home at 7am and take them to Prendergast Ladywell School for 8:30am. If interested in your child joining us for the mornings, please let me know.
I am also doing school collection from this school at 3pm on the Monday and Tuesday, others are welcome to join.

I hold a full British passport.
I do not drive.

I live a fairly healthy lifestyle; I like going to the gym, and swimming when I can, and I am a non-smoker. I absolutely love being a Mum; I love teaching my own son new things and learning something from him everyday, I love going on playdates, exploring the parks with him, finding him some friends and dancing our socks off! I enjoy having fun days out with friends and family too, and I love babysitting my niece and nephews. I consider myself a very friendly, reliable, organised and easy going individual, but stern when necessary. I am a very clean and tidy person, and I enjoy following daily routines. I am an animal lover, so if you have pets then I would be more than happy to look after them too!

I love working with children and getting that one-to-one bond with them to help them learn and grow. I enjoy teaching children to be independent and creative, as well as make sure they are happy and healthy and are having fun using their imagination and creativity. I find that it is important to me that children know some boundaries for their own safety and wellbeing, as well as learning the importance of polite manners and behaviour with other people. I enjoy the gentle parenting approaches and techniques, as well the montessori style learning and play. I am aware of children’s different development stages and can follow the EYFS to help progress a child’s physical, emotional and social skills and knowledge.

My Experience

I have almost 6 years professional childcare experience. Over 2 years in private nurseries and nearly 4 years as a nanny.
Currently doing before/after school care with 2 families, along with my son too.
I have done/am doing various after school roles, collecting children from Prendergast Ladywell School.
I did a nannying job every Friday in 2022 for a year, going on a fun day out with 2 toddlers (aged 2 and 4), alongside my son (aged 3 at the time) - left when all kids started nursery.
I did a before/after school role in July 2021 with 2 older kids (aged 8 & 11), had my son with me and even took care of their pet dog too (left as the kids started taking themselves to school).
I worked as a temporary nanny with a 1 year old boy whilst I was pregnant (worked with them again when he was 3 for babysitting).
I have worked a full time position with a 3 year old boy, giving one-to-one care and helping with his english as well as doing the nursery drop offs/pick ups. (Chose to leave this position due to a desire for less working hours whilst pregnant.)
I worked in a Busy Bees nursery for a short time but chose to leave due to my preference of a sole charge/nannying role.
I have worked with a family of 2 children, giving the youngest some one-to-one interaction and taking her to activities, and doing drop off/pick up for the eldest and helping her with homework, as well as going abroad to Dubai with them as their holiday nanny. (Had to suddenly leave this position due to their own family emergency.)
I have worked as a part time nanny for 2 children under 3, taking them to playgroups and planning fun activities with them.
I have worked as a short term nanny-sharer with the total of 5 children from 2 families, taking the youngest to playgroups, doing drop offs/pick ups for the older ones, and taking all children on fun days out to museums and parks.
Also, I worked in Smart Kidz Day Nursery with the under 2's, following the EYFS, planning activities, going on day trips and preparing meal times.
Furthermore, over the last 7 years I have gathered much more experience from babysitting and giving mothers help to children of different ages, including newborns, as it has always been a passion of mine to work with children. I have some experience with special needs and allergenic children, but definitely willing to gain more.
