About Me
Hi, My name is Nicola Hendon, or Nic Nic as the children call me x I have been graded *Outstanding*, in all areas by Ofsted in 2011, 2016 and 2020 - I also offer 2, 3 and 4 year old "Free", Nursery places, I accept childcare vouchers and am flexible with hours.
we are an Interactive setting and love to do our learning whilst having fun outdoors and indoors - we love to dig, grow things, cook, paint, read, do everything and anything xx we learn as we play and explore subjects, we think outside the box and find unique and interesting activities to excite and inspire. We also join with other childminders in the area - ensuring the children meet lots of new friends x
My aim is to provide top quality care in a family environment, helping children to settle in and feel welcome so they are able to relax, play, learn and have fun - enabling them to become confident, happy, caring little people who look after each other and themselves.
My Experience
I have been childminding for 17 years now and absolutely love my job - its the best !! I am continually training, learning and trying new things and love to see the looks of wonder on the children's faces as they learn x
Before I started childminding I looked after my friends two little girls every day for three years and now have two beautiful daughters of my own aged 17 and 19. I have since cared for tiny babies aged 12 weeks through to 12 year olds.
My Qualifications
I am registered to care for children from birth upwards, am fully insured ( including business insurance for the car ),Police DBS checked and a member of Pacey and the national childminding association.
I am an Early Years Advanced Practitioner, have completed my Cache level 4 Diploma in advanced childcare, Safeguarding, First aid and have had the Environmental Health Officer check my cleaning and cooking procedures.
I have completed many courses in lots of areas and continue to add to my knowledge - please come and see my certificates.
My Availability
I usually work from 7.00am to 6pm but am able to help with other hours too, I also provide free nursery sessions funded by the Government. I provide before and after School care, full time contracts or Term time only contracts, School Holiday cover, all day or part days and cover shift patterns so please contact me for availability and I will help you as much as I can.

My Fees

I accept vouchers and am able to offer free 3 and 4 year old nursery sessions too.
