About Me
I am SEN qualified to support children with learning difficulties, including dyslexia and ADHD. I also teach 11+ Entrance Exam skills and provide a monthly subscription to Bond Online within my hourly rate for 11+ students. I have an Enhanced DBS certificate. I tutor1:1 at home and also support children in school. I am a mother with a 18 year old daughter, I have a brother who is severely dyslexic, but doing very nicely now working for an American Bank....dyslexia need not hold a child back.
My Experience
Having qualified in 2013 at the Helen Arkell Dyslexia Centre, Farnham, Level 3, 'Teaching children with Specific Learning Difficulties', I have worked in local schools providing one to one, tuition and in class learning support. I am also available to tutor at home, after school. I am well aware of the national Curriculum at Primary School level and able to support children with SATs and School entrance exams. I have helped children gain places to many local schools including Churcher's College, Portsmouth/Guildford Grammar Schools, Girls High School, St Johns College and St Swithun's, Winchester.
I take time to understand a child's individual learning style and adapt my lessons to best suit their needs, whether it be visual, auditory, kinaesthetic (moving around) or a mix of all three!

My Availability
I prefer to work with children during the school day, Monday to Friday, in their secure learning environment. I am available Mon to Sat term time and during the school holidays. I am available for online tutoring £40 per hour. and have a limited number of face-to face-lessons available. Please message me to discuss your individual requirements, I am very flexible.
