I live in Islington near Kings Cross. I am a mother of a 20 year old daughter who is at University I have 20 years experience in childcare of all ages. I am a registered Childminder from when my daughter was small. I have been a Nanny from 2016 for different families. I’m looking for full-time nanny position, preferably Monday-Friday. I am friendly, energetic and hardworking and I love working with kids.
My Experience
I have worked as a childminder and Nanny for nearly 20 years. I have looked after children from under 12 months up to 7 years old. As a Nanny and Childminder I have enjoyed my time caring for children providing different play opportunities, library, play groups, farms, parks, zoo. I work along with the parents to help with the development of the child. I have been a sole charge nanny. I have experience with individual children as well as number of children under my care at the same time.

Sophia Heath has been a brilliant nanny since March 2023 for our two boys and we would highly recommend her. When she started, our sons were 4.5 months and three years old, and we knew as soon as we met Sophia that she was the right nanny for us, and felt very comfortable with both the children in her care.
Sophia is extremely reliable and punctual, always cheerful and full of energy. She has looked after our little one throughout the day, taking him to different playgroups and activities, and picked up our older son from school before giving both boys supper. During the holidays, she has regularly had both boys for the day, and she is very good at finding fun and low-cost activities to do around London that engage them both, despite the age difference. She comes up with a variety of meals for them to eat, always including fruit and veg, and keeps everything clean and tidy. She is communicative and sends us an update and photos during the day. She has also been very flexible when we have asked her to stay late and babysit or arrive earlier. She has a knack for getting the boys down to sleep!
Sophia is very affectionate and caring, but ready to be calmly firm when our older son misbehaves. She has regularly helped him with his homework and encouraged the development of his reading and writing. She has also come up with several arts and crafts ideas and helped the boys make some lovely greetings cards.
We will miss Sophia’s enthusiasm, care, and skill; her future employers will be very fortunate to have her.
