Coming from a large family background, I have many years of experience working with and caring for children of all ages, from newborns to teenagers. I am enthusiastic, kind, creative, caring and reliable.
I have excellent communication skills and work well in partnership with parents to ensure children are brought up in a loving, fun, consistent, calm and educational environment while also possessing the initiative and confidence to work on my own. I find it incredibly rewarding to nurture a child’s positive characteristics and passions, and watch them grow.
Previous experience of working with babies through to school age children has given me the skills to help wean babies onto solids, manage tantrums in toddlers, encourage good manners, potty train, teach scooter road safety – amongst many other skills. With all these approaches, it is key to gain the child’s trust and to inspire and motivate them as your relationship develops.
