My Summary
About Me
I am on the oakdale estate, 2 minutes from junction 4 of the m65 motorway.
I live with my partner and 2 of my 4 children. I have 2 granddaughters who are 5 years old and 3 months old.
Due to my love of children I decided to become a childminder, it gives me the chance to spend time with my own children while enjoying being with other children.
I have a 7 seater car and all children are provided with age appropriate seats.
I am level 3 early years qualified and have been childminding for nearly 9 years.
My daughter is my registered assistant, she is 27, has a primary school teaching degree and her level 3 in early years.
My Experience
I have Brought up 4 children whilst working full time ( 12hr shifts) so I understand how hard it is to find the right kind of childcare to fit in with your needs. I also understand how hard it is to leave your child with someone you hardly know yourself as you worry about your child this is only natural. I do offer settling in sessions to help you be reassured that your child is happy before they officially start.

My Availability
I currently have vacancies full and part time.
Also before and after school
school holiday cover, I currently collect from The Redeemer on Oakdale.
I take 2,3 & 4 year old funding, Tax free childcare and vouchers where possible.
Times are: 8am - 5.30pm (negotiable hours)
We attend play groups twice a week and a soft play centre once a fortnight to help the children mix in with larger groups, and to make new friends. This helps with their communication skills and to build their confidence and self esteem.
We also go to local parks, trips to the beach, zoo, woods, farms and in the nice weather we pack a picnic and off we go.
Nursery’s can’t offer the same freedom because trips and outings have to be planned. We love it as after all who wants to be stuck indoors when we can be out in the fresh air exploring!
I have a dedicated extension on my home to childmind in and an outdoor play space for the children .

Been to visit kerryskidz this evening. We're impressed with what we saw she has adapted her back room to a nice playroom work toys etc. although I'm panicking an worried sick about going back to work and leaving my little baby boy . I know that he will be fine there. I'm pretty positive I'll be able to work with ease. my four year old will be joining the baby in the school
Holidays !! I'm currently filling out the paperwork and I'm more than satisfied with the policy's that Kerry Kidz have !!
