Hello, my name is Kerrie, I am 45 years old and originally from Dorset.
I am a professional and hard working, fully qualified NNEB nanny with over 27 years experience in the childcare field.
I am highly committed to, and incredibly passionate about, children's development, safety and happiness, complimented with the possession of a fair but firm approach to managing and promoting positive behaviour in children.
I am a quick thinker and capable of handling any deviations to the daily routine, maintaining that the children's welfare be paramount in all times in all situations.
I display a natural ability to lead and motivate children of all ages, and am recognised as polite, bubbly, patient and loving.
In my free time I enjoy horse riding, walking, spending time with friends and family and am learning Danish as my Godaughters live there!
My Experience
I qualified in 1998 and went on to work in various placements, including a nursery, family centre, woman's refuge, and temporary nanny positions before deciding that being a nanny was my favourite method of working with children and families. From there I joined a family in 2003 and stayed with them for seven and a half years. I have worked with a few families since then and am now available for babysitting.
My Qualifications
I have an NNEB qualification and have attended a number of child protection courses. I also attended a maternity nurse course in August 2020.
