Outstanding!

My son attended kidzcnr from when he was 2 years old till it started primary school. I moved to Essex in that time as still I would go past my work to take him as I loved Kacey, Jen and Ryan so much. They always went the extra mile Christmas, birthday and events. When Lenny finished they made me a beautiful picture book of all the pictures of him when he was there. I honestly would trust them with my life.

Excellent childminder

Both my children have been going to Kidzcorner for over 2 years and I couldn’t wish for a better childminder. My son attends Full time and my daughter goes before and after school. They have a great relationship with Kayce, Jen and Ryan and enjoy their time at kidzcorner. They always welcome us with a smile when dropping and collecting the kids and we are always given information about what they did during the day. The communication is great, not only about the things the children do during the day but also information about activities they enjoy, new routines or anything they might be concerned about. I feel that my preferences are taken into consideration because they always discuss about my children’s care, diet and routines in a way where I’m given the opportunity to have an input. This is great because when I want to reinforce something at home they also help at the childminder, for example with potty training or dealing with tantrums, I felt supported at the Kidzcorner and was also given ideas on how I could help my son at home. My son’s speech has improved so much and he now has less tantrums because he has been supported to express himself better at kidzcorner, he is confident saying what he likes/dislikes, how he feels and asking for help instead of throwing himself on the floor screaming. They have workshops on different things too, for example they had one on oral hygiene and the children were given a bouncy toothbrush. I used to be the one brushing my son’s teeth and now he is confident doing it on his own and showing me how clean they are afterwards, he has become more independent in general. Children learn about a variety of things through play, for example numbers, letters, foods, shapes, planets, volcanoes and plants. A few months ago my son was telling me about the different planets, their colours and size and he was exciting telling me how they had a story time about it and then did drawings about the different planets. I also remember a vulcano they created and my son was so excited about it that he kept asking me to do it at home. Kayce, Jen and Ryan have a great relationship with the children and the children respect them and listen to them, which is lovely to see.
I highly recommend kidzcorner.
