About Me
Hi I am Kathy, I live in Hope and am an Ofsted registered childminder. I have 2 children of my own, aged 8 and 12. I attend and support the local playgroups and regularly take the children out to local attractions including Chatsworth, Padley Gorge and Longshaw, I also plan trips further afield during the holidays and in the past we have been to Bluebell Dairy, Peak Wildlife Park and Manchester Sea Life.
I provide a welcoming environment with age appropriate activities and a large enclosed garden. Our daily routine includes We have 2 dog and 2 rabbits
I currently provide a pick up and drop off at Hope Primary School as this is where my both my daughters go, and Hope Pre School.
School and Pre School drop off and pick up to surrounding village schools can be provided subject to availability, this can be discussed on initial contact.
My Experience
In 2017, After 21 years of nursing I decided to train as a childminder so that I could enjoy the time with my 2 strong minded children. I now have 4 years of experience looking after children aged from 4 months - 8 years old. I have taken further online courses with Childcare.co.uk to strengthen my knowledge of child development.
My Qualifications
I have successfully completed the Basic Induction Training For Childminders,and the St John's Ambulance Paediatric First Aid Course, and since strengthened my knowledge through online and face to face courses.

I am available Tuesday-Friday from 0730-1700
