Hello,
We are looking for a mother help/nanny support from April/May 2024 for our home educated 8 years old boy.
Our approach to education is gentle parenting and child-led learning. Our son is very creative and sociable, he loves reading books, drawing, playing Lego, board games, making potions and imaginative play. He spends 3 days per week in an outdoor child-led setting, which he adores! However, due to my work commitments I need some extra help with childcare and someone who could become part of the family and he could trust. I am looking at around 11 hours per week, and we have some level of flexibility. Any support around the facilitation of his learning would be great too! We pretty much have an unschooling approach and are led by his interests, which are numerous!
The main support needed is after school hours on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, and around 6-8 hours of support on Mondays and Fridays.
