About Me

Hello! I’m Kathryn,

I have been working with children since leaving college when I was 17 (2006). I started by working as a student in a nursery and ended up staying at the same nursery for 8 years. In those 8 years I worked my way up to the Deputy Manager and moving onto the companies flagship nursery in St Johns Wood as a Early Years Advisor I decided I wanted a change.

In 2014 I started as a private nanny. which I have been doing now for 10 and a half years. In the past 10 years I have worked for 6 different families, each have given me different experiences and jobs - these include:
~mothers help (from 1 week old)
~newborn experience
~ twin experience
~ SENCO (special educational needs)
~ multi age experience from 1-18 years old
~ multi size experience / families from 1 child to 6 children.

The reason for leaving the nursery was a few different reasons however my main one being that I am a very sociable, bubbly, trustworthy and outgoing person and being in a nursery setting sets it’s limits on this. I am always up for a challenge and I am very happy to muck in and help with whatever you require!

I am fully OFSTED registered with a fully complaint letter (January 2023).
I hold paediatric first aid certificate (valid until Jan 2026)
I am fully covered with liability insurance for children in my care.

I have my own car with 13 years of driving experience, I have a full driving license with no endorsements.
my insurance covers children in my care up-to 18 years old.


I am looking for a position in the new year however please contact me if you feel you have something.
I’m looking for 3 full days a week possibly 4 with a Friday off however this can be discussed,
