Hello, my name is Crystal. I am a friendly and warm mummy- of two I have a daughter who is 6 years old and is currently at school, I also have a 3 year boy.
I currently live in Guildford and share my home with my partner and our little girl and our son Oliver.
I have lots of experience working with babies from 6 months up to children aged 5 years and hold a NVQ3 in Children and Young Adults Care and Education. Although I enjoy my current position as a nursery nurse, I have always felt Nannying would be a great fit for me, and since having Ruby and Oliver I feel now is a great time to find a position within a family Nannying.
I love to be outdoors and enjoy lots of messy play and cooking. I love to see a child happy and content whilst playing and feel passionate about providing educational activities at the same time as encouraging children to explore child-led learning.
My Experience
I have worked in a private nursery from 2008-2017 and have spent time with various ages during my time in childcare. I have worked as a nursery nurse for 8 years, and whilst within this role have gained my NVQ3 as well as a full and clean DBS, also I have Pediatric First Aid Certificate. And in the process of getting my ofsted certificate I also hold a full and clean driving licence.
I have also been a nanny to a little girl and her family from 2017-2023. I have the best relationship with the family we still see them regularly as they’ve become part of my family and myself and my children adore them. Within my role I did light cleaning,planning play dates,planning fun activities.
My Qualifications
I have a NVQ3 in childcare and I have many years of experience within a nursery setting. Additionally, whilst I was training for my NVQ, I nannied before and after nursery for two little girls until they went to full time school.
Full and clean DBS.
My Availability
Ideally I am looking for part time hours and, if possible, would like to bring my son along with me. He is a very well behaved and happy little boy that loves to be around other children. In the holiday I may have my daughter too if she isn’t attending holiday club
