About Me
I am a registered Childminder with Ofsted. I have been a childminder in the Whitenap area of Romsey for 23 years. I am married to Nigel and have 2 children aged 19 and 25 I provide full time and part time childcare for all ages.
I offer a friendly home from home service and visit local playgroups, parks, play centres and day trips out.
My home has a dedicated playroom however I also use the whole downstairs area for childminding so the children have lots of space to play. I also co childmind with another childminder in North Baddesley I have separate sleeping areas upstairs where each child will have their own room to sleep if required. I have a fully equiped garden and plenty of space for the children to play. We enjoy lots of different activities and children have free choice of messy play, role play, EYFS activities and free play.
My Experience
First and foremost I am a mum, I love children and enjoy watching them grow. I believe in welcoming the children in my setting as part of the childminding family ensuring they feel safe and secure, I enjoy good communication with my parents and ensure each childs individual needs are met. I have undergone lots of research in the development of children looking at Human Growth and Development and the Attachment Theory and understand the importance of children having secure and safe attachments. I am also a qualified counsellor and volunteer one day a week at a sixth form college offering counselling to teenagers.

I have spaces Mon and Tues Wed all day full time from September. Please note I charge a day rate of £65.00 funding is accepted

My Fees
- Childminding from £6.50 per hour
My daily fee is min £65 per day. £6.50 an hour. Please note funded hours are accepted, if care is shared with another setting funded hours must be shared proportionally.
For term time only care there is a half free retainer fee charged
From 8.00am to 5.00pm

Both of our children have been coming to Roz since they were 10 months old, now 4 and 2!
I really wanted that comforting, homely experience for my children while they were away from me and that's exactly what they get here.
Roz always has activities set up for them, suited for their ages and plenty of space for them to play freely. She will also adapt activities to whatever topic the children are really interested in and go out of her way to provide this.
My children love coming here and treat it like a second home, we feel very lucky to have Roz.

My son and daughter have been coming to Roz for a good few years now and I have never had any worries when they are in Roz’s care. She is a fantastic childminder and is fantastic with children she is always doing fun activities with them and is kind loving and caring to all the children she looks after. Her setting is always clean and has very homely feel with plenty of toys , games and educational games for the children to play with.

My son has been with Roz since he was just over a year and is now 3 years old. From the moment we met Roz we knew she was the right fit for us her home is warm, loving and fun and that was so important to us. We wanted him to have that constant rather than being one of many at a nursery . Our son adores her and she always goes above and beyond for us. She has taught our son so much and he thrives under her care. We also really like the network of minders she surrounds herself with which means he gets that all important social interaction with his piers. We feel very fortunate to have found her.
