About Me
Hi I'm Tracey, I'm a registered childminder and a qualified Early Years Practitioner in the Fintry area. With a part time space for immediate start.
I have been registered with the Care Inspectorate for 19 years with a Grade of 5 following my latest inspection. My Inspection Report is available to view on their website.
I have vacancies at present for pre-school and school age children.
I can drop off and pick up from Fintry Primary School, and i can also drop off or pick up from Fintry, Quarry View and Mill o Mains nurseries. I may be able to consider other local schools and nurseries too.
I am married with 3 grown up children and 3 grandchildren. We are a non smoking household with no pets, and I have a fully enclosed garden, and play area and shed to encourage outdoor fun and learning.
Prior to the Covid Pandemic I would regularly use lots of local facilities, i.e. Playgroups, the library, Soft Play centres, many local parks, Science Centre, Museums, Piper Dam etc, to offer the children a variety of different activities and adventures, to stimulate and encourage personal growth, in all weathers. Recently our activities have been more outdoor based, getting out and about enjoying nature, going to local nature reserves, and using local parks and gardens to learn more about the world around us.

My Experience
After qualifying as a nursery nurse,(now known as an Early Years Practitioner) 25 years ago, I worked in Broughty nursery. I then went on to be a private nanny for 2 years, then became a childminder for 2 years. I then worked outside of childcare, then 19 years ago returned to childminding, and have worked with many lovely children and parents since then.
At present I have 2 children I care for before and after school, and 3 part time pre-school children.
My Qualifications
I am S.N.N.B. qualified (Scottish nursery nurse board)
and am registered as a childminder (grade 5). My inspection reports are available to view.
I also offer funded hours for 3 and 4 year olds and eligible 2 year olds.
I like to keep up to date with new practices, so attend training sessions when possible. My most recent being:
