About Me
Greetings from Montessori Minded. I am Zoe Jones, a fully qualified Montessori nursery teacher and Ofsted registered Good Provider, and I am keen to welcome your child into my Montessori Minded home.
I have two sons aged nine and eleven, who my husband and I are raising within the Montessori philosophy. For infants and toddlers, this means encouraging and nurturing your child's natural urges for independence from a young age. I aim to provide a warm and welcoming environment with child-sized materials to help your child learn to do things "for myself".
My Experience
Over fifteen years of working with children from birth to eleven in a variety of environments: from working as a Mothers Help, a primary school teaching assistant, to teaching in a Montessori nursery, to teaching English as a foreign language, to teaching bilingual nursery program as the Headteacher at an International school in Japan.

My Fees
- Childminding from £6.50 per hour
Accepting Government funding for children from 9 months
£42 for half day (6 hours) / £60 for full day (8-5)
Drinks and snacks included
£2.50 per meal
£10 per hour by the half hour, for unsociable hours (7am-8am, 5-5:30)

Zoe has been looking after our son for the last two years and she has been fantastic. Our son was always incredibly animated on his way home telling us about everything he had done each day. He particularly loved the amount of outdoor time they had throughout the year.
Zoe’s communication was great and we always felt up to date with what was going on which we really appreciated.

We came across Zoe on Childcare.co.uk, and from the moment we viewed her profile, we knew we wanted her in our son's life! Our initial meeting was during the pandemic, and even with social distancing our son immediately took to Zoe. She is such a warm, nurturing person, and has been such an amazing childminder for us for over two years. Updates throughout the day with photos meant we never felt sad leaving him. Bittersweet progression to nursery means we are now leaving sparkling reviews to ensure other parents can snap up a place with Zoe while she still has it! You certainly won't regret your decision. We love you Zoe!

I am a first time mum and I was anxious and overwhelmed about finding childcare for my son for the first time. Not only did Zoe put us both completely at ease, but she encouraged our transition into childcare whilst completely supporting and validating my parenting methods and concerns. She was extremely accommodating and just generally amazing, and sent me photos and videos of my son all day. She was the only other person I trusted fully with my son. 100% recommendation, we were gutted when we had to find alternative arrangements due to needing more care than initially anticipated!

My daughter has been with Montessori Minded for over 18 months now. She absolutely loves it! Mia was always quite wary of strangers at a young age but during our first meet with Zoe I knew straight away we wanted Mia to have a place! Zoe was so engaging and Mia was at ease immediately. It was so relieving to see.
Montessori Minded provide a wonderful atmosphere for children to grow. Mia gets to enjoy so many wonderful activities with Zoe, it’s definitely a home from home situation.
The regular communication we get from Zoe is amazing. I never have to worry how Mia’s getting on, the pictures I get now and again throughout the day show me what an amazing time she’s having without me.
Montessori Minded have also taught Mia an amazing amount of independence, this has certainly made my life slightly easier! So thank you!
I’ll be quite sad when Mia starts school next year and grows out of Montessori Minded. If we have baby number 2 we will definitely be reserving a place though!☺️ Thanks again!
