About Me
Hello, my name is Charlie and I am married with 2 boys aged 7 and 3. My eldest is at primary school and my youngest is at home with me and is counted in my ratios. I am registered with Ofsted and I am based in West End. I have an open plan set up downstairs, including a playroom and access to my garden with a playhouse, slide, mud kitchen and vegetable patch. I also have a large allotment which we visit as much as possible, growing our own fruits and vegetables and the children love to play in the mud kitchen. I enjoy taking the children to a local playgroup and our weekly music class.
My Experience
I have worked with young children for over 20 years, firstly as a nanny then as a nursery nurse before moving up the ladder to manager and for 9 years I worked as a qualified teacher; 7 of those years were spent teaching 3 and 4 year olds. I have been childminding since 2022.
My Qualifications
I have a degree in Early Years and have qualified teacher status (2013). I qualified in 2002 with a Diploma in Childcare and Education (DCE).
I keep my safeguarding, first aid and food hygiene training up to date.
My Availability
No current availability for childminding.
My core hours are 7.30am - 4pm but can be discussed.

I would Highly recommend Charlie, she has been great with my little boy lewis who is two years old.
Charlie does lots of fun and different things each day with Lewis and Lewis is very happy to be there with her.
Charlie also keeps me updated regularly throughout the day.
