Nanny

About Me

I was brought up in the North Derbyshire countryside . After college I lived in Berkshire, Cheshire and London moving to my live in nanny jobs were. My live out nanny jobs were in London also. After my marriage I was a registered childminder assessed by Buckinghamshire County council. I took care of various children as well as my own two small children. Working from home allowed me to help run the mothers and toddlers group and be a member of the Playgroup committee. When I moved back to Derbyshire, I was employed at a large secondary school as a classroom assistant where I worked with children with emotional, physical and behavioural problems. Moving to Scotland I got a job in primary school working with children on the autistic spectrum moving up the school with them and when one of them left primary school providing after school care for her. Working for the last 4 years in primary 1 and the nursery have been very rewarding and enjoyable.In my free time I walk my old dog slowly. I have enjoyed decorating the house. I like all sorts of crafts and baking. Travelling is something I have always loved. Creating a new garden last summer was very rewarding. I enjoy going to the cinema, theatre and concerts and intend to do this more often this year.
