About Me
Hi my name is Yvonne ....although I get called many various versions of this by the children ..Vonnie,Von,Onnie... so I very rarely get called Yvonne!
I live in the Alma Park area on a quiet cul-de sac with my husband, we have two boys who have now grown and flown the nest.
I have worked in childcare for over 30 years, over 20 of those years as a registered childminder.
I offer caring,stimulating and flexible childcare. I use the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) curriculum with under 5s to help me observe, asses and plan for exciting individual learning and development. I like to work closely with parents to ensure that each child reaches their full potential.
We enjoy indoor play with an extensive array of resources, we attend various groups such as Makaton sessions and Jo Jingles.
We also love exploring the great outdoors in the fresh air and spend time exploring and playing at local attractions such as, the farm, local parks and Belton House to name a few. We learn about the world around us, develop our physical skills and enhance our social skills meeting up with other minded friends.
I thoroughly enjoy my job, and childminding is a big part of my life. I enjoy being part of the child's life and to see them grow into confident and independent young people.I have been very fortunate to have long term relationships with all my families , and I look forward to many more enjoyable and rewarding years !!!!
My Experience
I am N.N.E.B trained and have worked for over 30 years in childcare.
I began my working life as a live in nanny to two young children, I then became a live in nanny for the then Rector of Grantham's newborn daughter.
I have also been Officer in Charge at a local nursery.
After the birth of my first son I began my career as a childminder.
During my years as a Childminder I worked alongside the Local Authority to give advice and support to childminders within Lincolnshire in readiness for their Ofsted inspections, this included home visits and delivering sessions to help improve their practises.

My Availability
I work from 8:00 am til 5.30pm Monday to Friday, hours outside of this may be undertaken by prior agreement.
I welcome enquires from parents with children aged 3 months to secondary school age.
I accept 2,3 and 4 year old funding.

My Fees
- Nursery work from £7.00 per hour
All children during normal working hours - £4.70 per hour
Hours outside contracted hours by arrangement.
