About Me

I am an ofsted registered childminder.
inspected by Ofsted January 2019 and received an overall good grade for both myself and the childminder I co childminder with, report has been published and can be found on their site.
I am also registered/member of PACEY (Professional Association for Childcare and Early Years)


I am up to date with all my training and have the relevant certificates in safeguarding & pediatric first aid.
I have attended a session on wellcomm screening ….this will allow me to carry out and use the tool to identify and support the individual child in speech, language and communication.

I am also an non-smoker, In a non-smoker setting.

I hold a Full UK driving Licence

I am also available to offer the 30 hours funding for 3/4 years olds (relevant criteria met)
As well as offer funding for 2 year funding (relevant criteria met)
If you attend university, I can accept payments through childcare grant payment service.
Depending on your individual circs … you may be able to get assistance towards costings through universal credit or childcare choices.

We can provide uniform if needed


I will be working along side another childminder who has over 15 years experience (co childminding) currently in the Wallasey area. We will be able to offer care in the Upton area (CH49) from September 2023…. The property is near to motorway & hospital. We are both Ofsted registered and will be able to care for children of all ages.

We have a mixture of ages in the setting at the moment from 8 months old up to 11 years old.


I have a ten year old boy who is very active both indoors and outdoors, he keeps me on my toes. He thrives on the challenges ahead, He currently plays for a local grassroots football team and for wirral school boys. He is currently working towards taking his 11+ & St Anselms exam.
We are both active and like the outdoors often taking our puppy for walks in the local area.

I have been in this profession now for over 5 years, registering in 2017. I follow the EYFS framework. I assist and support children in their development meeting their individual needs and ensuring they reach their target areas.
Children have the freedom to move, explore and investigate their surroundings allowing them to have fun whilst learning. They will get to experience different environments both indoors and outdoors. They will be comfortable and confident enough to face different challenges and develop their own little personalities. They will make friendships and have memories to cherish as they get older and move onto their next chapter.
I liaise regularly with the child’s support network and since my time as a childminder I have introduced for preschoolers, school bags with reading books and activity logs and implemented other elements to support their learning journey and prepare them for their next steps at primary school.


FYI:- The setting has two separate rooms downstairs (conservatory & living room) ..... different activities are planned out each day. We follow both adult led and child led play, promoting independence. We observe and have an understanding of how individuals prefer to learn and play and provide support when needed. Resources are changed around regularly to allow children to develop different interests. We utilise the outdoor area frequently (garden with a sheltered play area) .....various toys available outdoors e.g. mud Kitchen, sandpit, tyres, slides, ride ons, prams etc. The setting is close to various parks and the children like to go out and explore.


I also have availability for school drop offs and pick ups as well as holiday cover if needed
