Joy looked after my son from 6 months old until he started school. I have always found that he enjoyed his time with Joy and the activities they did. I was particularly pleased that Joy took him out for long walks in the fresh air and was rarely indoors which was one of the reasons I was attracted to her in the first place. Joy places an importance on learning and healthy eating.
My son settled in easily in her care and the regular updates, text photos and diary entries made it easier to return to work knowing he was in safe hands.
I have always found Joy flexible and she welcomed my son to her home and treated him as part of her family.
It is sad to leave her and I hope she will be able to care for my daughter when I return to work.
