About Me
I am a Care Inspectorate registered Childminder living in Doonfoot, Ayr, and have been childminding for 21 years. I offer a relaxed home from home service. I make good use of the beaches and many parks in my area and also take the children along to Bookbug sessions and local mother & toddler group. I have successfully completed my HNC in Childhood Practice at Ayr College. I also offer flexible hours and days to suit shift patterns, if my current numbers allow. I was recently inspected by the Care Inspectorate in July 2024, and have been awarded 4 x Grade 6’s (Excellent) for the 4 inspection areas, my full inspection report can be found on the Care Inspectorate website.
My Experience
I started Childminding in 2002, after having completed an ICS diploma in Nursery Daycare. I have worked with a wide range of ages, from young babies up to academy age, including twin babies. I have just graduated from Ayrshire College after completing my HNC in Childhood practice attaining an A in my graded unit.

My Availability
I no longer care for school aged children, my service is focused on babies and toddlers at present. I am happy to offer flexible contracts to parents with shift patterns/rotations if this fits into my current numbers. * possible Wednesday baby space available
