About Us

We are currently an outstanding rated nursery in the Centre of Tadley.

We have 3 rooms - babies, 2-3 year olds and 3-5 year olds.

The baby room has 2 play rooms, a craft area, a bedroom and a kitchen/diner. The other two rooms have open areas which have play sections such as construction, home corner, craft area, book corner, games and puzzles, sensory play and natural materials. The ethos for all the rooms is that all the resources are accessible for the children and they are able to self select, but have to be responsible for their play environment. Due to COVID 19 the children's play resources are being cleaned frequently and this includes the children being responsible for cleaning what they have played with. We have sanitiser, UV sanitising lights and fogging machines to ensure as many precautions are taken as possible. This new cleaning regime will continue for the foreseeable future.

We do have an outside space to the side of the nursery. The outside space is large enough to enable children to go out in their age groups. The space on offer provides different play stations in the garden, and offers gross and fine motor skills play. The children have a sand shed, bikes, climbing equipment, writing shed, story cubby, water play, outside tap, plants and a large shed which houses all of their outside resources. The children have two outside play sessions a day and these sessions can be for half an hour to 2 hours depending on weather, learning and development opportunities and the needs of the children. We also like to take children for walks in the woods, to the play park, on the bus, to the shops, to the library and to the post office. Due to current COVD 19 restrictions and social distancing some of these activities are on hold but will re commence when it is safe to do so.

We want you to join our setting as a family and feel valued. We like to get to know the family and what you all like to do when you are together. We like to talk about extended family and friends so when we have conversations with your children we know who they are talking about. We want you to feel you are dropping your children off with a trusted family member so you can go to work, or be at home, not worrying about the care your child is receiving. Communication is the key to a successful partnership. We like to talk and catch up when dropping off, collecting, in emails, within newsletters and during parent meetings. Our door is always open for our parents and there is no such thing as a silly question.

We have 2 Managers, 2 Senior practitioners and 5 nursery nurses. They are all here to support you as a family and to provide learning and development experiences for your child so they can continue to develop, progress and grow. We ensure their individuality is celebrated and that learning incorporates their personal needs and their style of learning.

We work with families closely for children who have SEND needs. Please call us to discuss what your child's specific needs are.

We are open for visits after 5pm so other children can be moved away from the area parents are going to be visiting. Forms will need to be completed on arrival. Please respect social distancing rules. Do not come for a visit if you have symptoms, or you have been in contact with someone who has symptoms.

We would love to hear from you.

As a new mum who has worked within the childcare industry and in a wide range of settings, I knew what environment I wanted for my child, and Tinytown is exactly that. My child was welcomed into the setting with open arms and I was never worried about how he would get on after our first settling in visit as the girls in the baby room were able to put my worries at ease. He has been there for nearly a year now and I'm sure sometimes he doesn't even want to come home as he has so much fun! There is lots of communication about upcoming changes or event happening and all members of staff are very knowledgeable. The baby room staff have been a huge help with advice on everything from sleeping to how to induce new foods when he was weaning. I couldn't recommend this nursery enough and I am excited to continue our journey here for the foreseeable future. Thank you Tinytown :)

Having had previous experience of a larger nursery setting for my babies older brother I felt tiny town offered a more personal approach to child care and knew he would not get lost amongst larger children in each room.

Unfortunately we were not able to have the settling in sessions due to COVID restrictions at the time. This was not a problem as the nursery still accommodated a handover of information and had the opportunity to meet my son. Staff were friendly and engaged with Phoenix during this time and helped reassure me he would be ok. The baby room for me is what made me originally choose the setting, as I felt the small group size and different rooms to free flow in and out of would mean Phoenix would be more comfortable and receive the attention I would provide if at home.
The staff are friendly and the communication is excellent. Setting is accommodating with foods and provide an alternative if the main option on the menu is not liked.
Phoenix is happy and I can already see he is developing in areas since he started.
The communication regarding COVID has always been informative and links provided to parents for additional reading.

Such a lovely review thank you so much. We are glad that even through covid restrictions we were able to make your family feel welcome, and settle Phoenix.

I can’t recommend Tiny Town enough, right from our first visit we were made to feel so welcomed and included within the setting.
Despite having only just started at the start of March, we saw a huge change in my son, growing in confidence right from the get go
The hourly rate really suits our family and the communication between staff and parents is fantastic

Starting just before lockdown was so unfortunate but we can assure you when you and your family return you will find us just as you left us. We hope we can continue to be everything you want from a nursery. See you soon

We moved to Tadley with an 18 month old and a baby on the way. I'll never forget the first visit I had to Tiny Town.. The staff were so welcoming, friendly and really took the time to talk to my little girl (and not just me, like in other settings I'd visited). I instantly knew it was the right nursery for my little one and they were incredible at settling her into her new nursery. Needless to say, when our second was 9 months old, she joined too and she has thrived there since then! The staff are simply fantastic.. my girls are always so happy to go and chat non-stop about their day when we pick them up. The facilities are lovely, with the outdoor space and smaller, cosy, setting indoors. I love the little trips out they do with the children too.
The staff communicate with the parents really well and are so approachable/flexible. I would highly recommend this nursery!

Hiya
Thank you so much for the positive feedback. We are so happy your girls love it at Tiny Town. Sharing this experience, especially as you have come from out of area, is so helpful for other parents looking. I hope we can continue to give the girls a great early years experience so they can move to school having acquired independence skills, and the confidence to carry on learning and developing.

My daughter has been attending Tiny Town for two and a half years and we have been extremely happy with her time and progress there.
It's clean, warm with a rich learning environment. The staff are friendly and commited and even after a long day of looking after little ones, have a smile and time to talk about the child's day.
We've always felt listened to, informed of what is going on and our views taken into consideration. Our child has grown from a two year old to a fiesty, inquisitive and kind little girl, who is always talking about her "friends at nursery" and it's in no small part to the staff at Tiny Town. It gave me peace of mind to know that I could leave her and go about my day, and she would be very well looked after.
Her speech has grown both in depth and range and it's lovely to hear her sing another new song she learnt at nursery.
It may be a tiny part but the fact that they provide nappies and wipes meant it was two less things I had to worry about! The range in foods served is good and she gets to try different things.
We will be sad to leave when she moves to big school and we couldn't have asked for a better foundation.
