Hi everyone!
I am an enthusiastic, bubbly, fun and cheerful person and working with children is my passion. I absolutely love putting a smile on their faces! I currently am working in Australia as a Nanny but am looking to move back to Buntingford to do Nannying next month (May). I hold a full driving license and have my own car, it’s a smart car so only one passenger seat so preferably a family who has one child, unless driving to activities etc is not required. I am a qualified Early Years Practitioner but also have experience working with older children, in a special needs primary school (worked in a class with 10-11 year olds for a year) so am happy to work with any aged children! My Experience
I worked in a mainstream primary school for 4 years with Early Years aged children and then progressed onto a Special Needs Primary School for 2 years. I recently worked as SENCo / Nursery Practitioner at a private nursery but am currently working as a Nanny in Australia! I hold a Level 3 Childcare qualification, am Paediatric First Aid trained and get DBS checked once a year. I also have extensive knowledge of Makaton. In my current job as an Early Years Practitioner / SENCo, I liaise with parents, plan activities for a range of different needs, follow routines given by parents (if necessary), change nappies, enjoy singing and dancing with my children, although I’m sure they rather I didn’t do the singing part! Review IEPs, meet with parents to discuss their children’s progress, meet with other professionals such as Early Years Advisory Teachers and Speech and Language therapists.
