About Me
My name is Jenna McGowan and I am very lucky to be a mummy to 3 wonderful children aged 7, 11 and 13. I live in Abbots Langley in a house with a large patio and garden to access plenty of outdoor learning.
I aim to provide the children in my care with a nurturing home from home environment in which they will be treated as part of the family. I foster good manners, having respect for others and building self confidence to try new experiences, taking risks and being independent. I provide learning experiences through play which are varied and developed from the children's interests and ages and stages of development.
We enjoy going to the park, woods, local groups and meeting up with other childminders to help build social skills.
My Experience
I have been an Ofsted registered childminder since 2017 before this I was a primary school teacher for 14 years. Most of my teaching career was with 3-6 year olds.
My Qualifications
I have a primary teaching degree and hold a qualification in home based childcare.
I hold current 12 hour pediatric 1st aid training
My Availability
Currently full for under 5's.
School drop off and pick up to Abbots Langley Primary school.
