About Me
Hi, i have been a childminder since 2012 before that i worked in my local preschool.My last inspection i was rated a good with a high priority on promoting children's communication and language development.
I am a mum of two children my eldest is a 13 year old boy and i have a 9 year old Daughter. I live in a 3 bedroom house with my partner Glenn,our two children and my 22 year old step daughter that works in a local Day Nursery. We have a large range of toys for all ages,books puzzles,small world toys,dressing up clothes,lots of different arts and crafts and many more. we have a nice sized secure garden with a play house,plenty of ride on toys and pushchairs,a range of different sport equipment and a sand and water tray.
I attend regular toddler/stay and play groups,visits to the local parks,the library,farms and allotment. We also go on all weathered walks to keep us active and explore our surroundings. My aim is to fit all activities around the children in my care to ensure naps,feeding and quiet time is included.
I aim to provide a warm,friendly,home environment for your child so they can play and learn in a safe secure setting.
My Experience
I have been a childminder since 2012 before that i worked in my local preschool. I have looked after children ages ranging from 3 months to 12 years old. I have had some experiences in caring for children with special needs.
And i am a mum of two.
My Qualifications
DBS Checked
First Aid Trained (retaken every 3 years)
Safeguarding Trained
Food and hygiene trained
CACHE Level 2 and Level 3 Diploma for the Children and Young Peoples Workforce.
I have many more certificates from workshops i have attended and online courses i have completed.
I continue to attend regular courses to keep up to date with current legislation's.
My Availability
My normal working hours are 7 30 am till 5 30 pm i can be flexible if needed.
