Hi Quick update to the info below (19th Oct23) ; My partner and myself are currently travelling in UK and Europe since Sept 22 in our motorhome ( currently in Italy ). But will now be in Sudbury till after New Year so apart from spending time with my friends & family and the two children mentioned above , now a little older, I am free to be available for any other family that might need a hand. As soon as return to UK next week I will download documents and pop one or two references on my account .
I'm a Mum/Stepmum to four children , all over 20 and enjoying life ,so not needing Mum so much now .
I was in my previous job for 18years ,before that I working for 8 years alongside adults with learning difficulties and in my late teens working as a Nanny. But my most rewarding job was being a Foster Mum to five wonderful children which led to us adopting our daughter ten years ago x
My nephews and godchildren still love to come on holidays, to mine for sleepovers and fun days out .Whats a trip to the beach without making sandcastles or a dog walk without building a den or making cakes and not ending up with more flour on you than in the bowl !!!
Most important to me is that a child feels secure and safe when away from Mum & Dad , at home or out & about with me .
Im hoping theres another family where, a formal childcare qualifications, comes second to my Mum life experiences and is flexible to fit around my existing position.
My Experience
I have been looking after an adorable girl from Halstead since Sept 2017, now nearly 7, hopefully will continue until I am no longer needed .I'm very fortunate to also be in an adorable little boys life, who is like a grandson to me, he now attends pre school so I am now free during the day as I still squeeze in a night that he comes to stay . I have also been a foster carer , with my partner, whilst raising our
own four children whom are all now over twenty.
My Qualifications
I have completed a St Johns paediatric course last year and achieved a grade b in GCSE maths in 2018 . Which now means my 12 year old God daughter treats me as a24hr maths helpline !
Due to being a foster parent a few years back , I completed the fostering programme and went on to foster , mostly, under 10s. We are still unsure whether to return to fostering as my days are free now, apart from walking our two labs and the odd days I help in my partners business.

My Fees
- Nannying from £15.00 per hour (gross)
- Babysitting from £10.00 per hour
Negotiable for the right family also I work as self employed.
