Hi, I'm Sarah and my husband is Ahmed. We have a 8 year old son with additional needs as well as a 2 year old son and a 6 month old baby girl. My 8 year old has a speech delay and uses limited (but improving!) verbal communication. He is loving and very sociable. He is able to express himself, he has no behavioural issues and is very friendly. Hall if my children love laughing, having fun and playing.
My Requirements
I am looking for a nanny to help me look after my children on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. The hours are from 7.15am to around 8pm while I work from home. I also need help on Monday evenings from 3.45pm to around 8pm. I would be looking for a start date as soon as possible.
This role over summer holidays will involve playing at home with all 3 children or taking them out locally. From September my 2 year old will be at school 5 days a week so the role will only involve looking after the baby during school hours and then collecting the boys from school via a cab and bringing them home. I will usually ask you to cook a simple dinner for the family on the days that you are here.
Up to date DBS certificate and two previous childcare references including current employer is essential.
Special needs experience is a bonus as it would be fantastic if you could think of creative ways to help my older son with his therapy programmes while you are here.
You must be a non-smoker.
As part of this role I expect you to perform a few basic household tasks such as cleaning up after the children, washing their dishes, tidying up their toys, folding and ironing their clothes.
