I am a caring, fun loving person. I believe in every child matters.
To promote this principle, I encourage and support both children and parents to help their children achieve their full potential, this could be through supporting them with homework, after school activities, behaviour management, and ultimately making sure a holistic development is achieved to create a well rounded individual with the parents support.
My Experience
I am a registered childminder, I have been working as a childminder for 15 years, with four grown up children of my own.
We offer a loving, homely environment for children to thrive and flourish.
I achieved GOOD status in my last OFSTED report (29/01/2020) this report can be viewed on the Ofsted website. I have up to date requirements and qualifications in safeguarding, first aid, EYFS, food and hygiene certificate etc.
All children are offered meals in compliance with their food tolerance (food allergies ), also included in my fees is snacks and drinks.
Healthy eating is promoted as I cook daily.
Hygiene is equally important as children has to learn this skills from the beginning, overall I am confident your child/ children will have a good experience.
In the current climate, children’s temperature is checked and all safety procedures complied with in other to safeguard everyone in the setting from COVID-19.
My setting has a good garden and outside space for the children to explore.
Children are able to go on trips, visit activities around us locally and sometimes in the summer we travel to Chelmsford, Brentwood, Basildon etc to explore the various walks and trails available to us for day trips ( this is subject to parental consent).
My Qualifications
Level 4 safeguarding, paediatric first aid, food and hygiene certificate, level 3 on child development.
I am also a marvellous minder.(I have been working with children with additional needs and support for 10years.
My after school pickups can vary depending on the school’s closing times.
My main school pickup is Fairway primary school.
Pickup from other schools can be arranged depending on suitability.
I provide services for funded children (2yrs old) and (3-4yrs).
I also accept various childcare vouchers.
For non driving parents, I offer a pickup and drop off service too.
My Availability
I am open from 7am-6pm Monday to Friday, including school holidays (not on bank holidays).
Hours outside of the above can be arranged and agreed but not as standard. Thanks.

My Fees
- Babysitting from £10.00 per hour
- Childminding from £6.00 per hour
£6.00 per hour. Additional fees may apply depending on the child/children's needs.
