My Experience

I studied Childcare in collage which helped me understand child development and furthered my knowledge about their well-being and understanding of the world as well as getting a lot of experience being around children in a working environment. I was placed in 3 different nursery’s for a long period of time, working with children of different age groups, the youngest being months old to the eldest being 4.

My first nanny job was with a family of 4- mum, dad and 2 girls - aged 4 and 1 year. I started with this family when the girls were 3 years and 6 weeks old. I was their full time nanny, Monday- Friday.

My second nanny job was family of 2- mother and 4 year old boy. I was an after school nanny 3-7pm mon-fri term time and a full time nanny 7-7pm during school holidays.

My third nanny job was for a family of a 4- mum, dad, 4 year old girl & 3 year old boy. I started when the children were aged 1 and 2 years old. I worked 8-6pm 4 days a week and I still carry out regular baby sitting for them.

Currently working 1 day for a family of 3- mum, dad and a little boy who is 3 years old. I started when the boy was around 10 months old. Sadly as he is now older he will be attending nursery full time, reason being my hours have dropped and I am in search of a new family to care for!
