I have been an Ofsted registered childminder for over 7 years. I have two boys of my own a 6 year old and a 8 year old, and a husband who I have been married to for 8 years.
I love my job and we enjoy days out to parks, toddler groups, farms, soft plays, visiting other childminders, walks through the wood and trips to the beach. When at home we also enjoy arts and crafts, baking, singing and reading. I pride myself on being a home away from home setting giving families the reassurance that their children are in a loving setting while providing the necessary tools for their development.
We currently live in Forge Wood but are moving to pound hill next month.
My Experience
Since registering in 2017, I have cared for children from the age of 7 months to 10 years old. I have cared for children with additional needs, allergies, dietary requirements and asthma. Before becoming a childminder myself, I helped my mother do it for 16 years. I have also done babysitting for 16 years for friends, family and my mothers minded children.
My Qualifications
I am OFSTED registered.

My Availability
SPACE AVAILABLE MONDAY, WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY. Any times between 8am-5pm from AUGUST/SEPTEMBER 2024
I would also provide emergency over night care for children I look after.

I accept the 15 & 30 funded hours for 3/4 year olds and the 15 hours funded hours for 2 year olds and 9 months old.

Laura has looked after our daughter since she was 8 months old and she is now almost 4. Laura shows professionalism, kindness and integrity. Laura promotes a “home away from home” atmosphere and this is especially great considering our daughters social anxiety. Laura is supporting not only my daughter but us get ready for school. I wouldn’t have anyone else look after my daughter, Laura ensures each day is active and fun and educational. My daughter loves each day with Laura and always comes home with fun filled stories to tell. Laura has care at her core and we are so pleased we found Laura
