Lucky to have had her as our childminder

Our son started attending Pat’s setting when he was 13 months old and was there full time until started school.
On our first day at her setting I was the one leaving with tears, not him! Pat cares for the children at her setting the same as for her own family. Throughout the years we got to know her and her family and felt part of it. She has a lot of experience which was really reassuring and helpful for us new parents with no parents around to help and consult. She observers every child and gives feedback.
It was good setting for our son, who is an only child, to interact with children his age, older and younger to have the social experience and learn to share and wait for this turn. No doubt this helped when he started school.
I have never had doubts or fears about children’s safety and was happy that Pat is so active and goes places with them (beach, soft play, zoo, parks, cinema, bowling). Even if they were at home, she always kept them busy and entertained and children have lots of fun. Pat is firm but fair, there is order at her setting, children learn manners and good behaviors which is very important and helps when starting pre-school/school.
We are very grateful to have had Pat looking after our son and now our little cousin will be starting Pat’s setting soon. 100% recommend, you will be at ease leaving your child with Pat.

Amazing Childminder

My son started going to Patsys when he started Primary School. He attended Patsys until he was 11 years old and the only reason he doesn’t attend now is because he goes to a school closer to our home. Pat is a very loving and caring childminder but she is also firm but fair when it comes to discipline. The children would never be bored whether it was outside play, creating Christmas decorations or making wonderful gifts for the parents, my son would always look forward to spending time there. In the school holidays, she makes sure that they get out and spend time at the park or at the beach on a sunny day. As she has brought up three children of her own, she has a lot of experience in looking after children and from the very first day I trusted her. Patsy is a very professional and competent Childminder and I wouldn’t have any hesitation in recommending her setting. My only regret is my son not attending her setting sooner!!

Best childminder I know

My son was with 'Patsy' from 10 months old till 4 years old. As a mother with a first born child I felt very guilty leaving him, but from the minute I met Pat I knew she was the right person for my son with.
I wanted him to have the home from home enviroment and this is exactly what I got. My son always was content to be left with Pat, never any tears and always a smile when I picked him up.
The care Pat has for her minded children is above and beyond what I imagined a childminder to be. I would get an update every day on how he had been and all the fun things they had been up to. He also learnt so much, through play and different activities. A kind but fair enviroment for the children.
She even got him to eat all his dinners including all the vegetables!!
My son is now 6 and unfortuntely we moved house so he no longer can go to 'Patsy's house' but we still keep in contact and he still talks about her now.
I would highly recommend her to anyone who wants their child to be happy and cared for.

Fantastic!

My daughter has been with Pat since she started school 4 years ago. We count ourselves as extemely lucky to have found her as she provides a home from home environment whilst we both work, and I know my daughter is happy and in safe hands. In school holidays my daughter enjoys trips to the park, beach, library and soft play and loves the many arts and crafts activities she gets to do. I would wholeheartedly endorse and recommend Pat to any parent looking for childcare, I just wish I'd found her sooner! Thank you Patsy :-)

Brilliant!

My son has been with Pat (or rather 'Patsie' to the children) for almost 7 years now.

Callum joined when he was just over a year old and I must say that I am very thankful for the thoughtful, friendly, professional care Pat provides to the children. I am filled with confidence when I leave Callum with Pat that he is a safe and happy child.

The children have fun with varying toys, games, activities and outings with a focus on learning through play. It is reassuring that good, well-mannered behaviour is encouraged too.

Callum has formed a strong bond with Pat and her family and I am delighted to have found a home from home environment that I can rely on.

I have friends and colleagues who have placed their children with Pat upon my recommendation and I know they agree their children are welcomed into the family with open arms.
