My Summary

My Experience

I regularly volunteered at Seaford community centre, helping children with homework, leading games and activities for the children and also helping out with the nursery children. I did some work experience at Micklefield Nursery School when I was 16 for a short period of time. I also had a regular babysitting job at this time. When I was 17 I went to Nairobi, Kenya and worked in an orphanage for 6 weeks where I mainly looked after the 1-2 year old children but also helped out with the newborns and elder children when they were short of volunteers, I was given a lot of responsibility at the orphanage and the working hours were 6am - 8pm. I had a part time job at Drusillas park (children's zoo) for 4 years during the school holidays which involved a lot of interaction with young children and their parents. I regularly look after my friends children and my sisters God son which I absolutely love doing. In 2017 I was a part time Nanny to a little girl for a year and a half, she was 9 months old when I started. For 3 weeks during the summer in 2018 I worked at a summer camp where I was in charge of a group of 10 teenagers for the entire duration. From 2020 I was a full time nanny until I started my masters in 2021 and then went down to part time looking after a now 3, 4 and 6 year old, I still look after these children on a adhoc basis and have regular babysitting work with two other families of which their children are 3 and, 7 and 11.
