My Summary
About Me
I offer term time places, funded or non funded, and before school care. I am fortunate to live near a local park and wood and opposite a green all of which we regularly explore. Each day we have time outside which is very much led by the children and their current interests, which also defines the resources set out each week. There are always areas to explore imagination, numbers, construction, role play etc. but they are very much based on the individual children's interests and the next developmental steps that we are working on. Children freely ask for specific resources and at the end of each week we all discuss what they would like out the following week.
We attend different local playgroups weekly to broaden children's experiences and further develop social skills. Mark making, singing sessions and reading occurs throughout each day.
I promote healthy eating and offer breakfast, two snacks a day and homemade lunches which always cater to children's dietary requirements and preferences. I try and have one meat free day per week.
I have two children of my own, aged 16 and 14, two dwarf lop rabbits and an axolotl.

I am an Ofsted registered childminder, rated as good, with previous experience as a childminder's assistant and special needs teaching assistant
