My child has been with Maxine since September 2018 when I had to return to work full-time when he was just 9 months old. I was very nervous about going back to work and leaving our son in someone else’s care but Maxine was very warm and caring and this was very comforting. Maxine looks after my child term time every Monday and every other Thursday as this fitted around my other childcare needs. Our son has created a lovely bond with Maxine and we couldn’t be happier with the way she looks after him. Maxine has given him confidence and the ability to be himself which has helped him grow into a sociable and playful child.

We have recommended Maxine to friends and family as we feel she is a fantastic, trustworthy and competent Childminder. We look forward to our sons journal which we get every few months and enjoy reading through what our son has been up to with some lovely photos. As I am at work when his Nan picks him up I am unable to talk to Maxine about his day so Maxine gave us a Daily Diary which is our communication between ourselves and I get a little insight to his day. I also receive some photos through the day which is a lovely way to reassure me that our son is safe and enjoying himself. Maxine makes our sons day very fun and enjoyable as he goes to messy play, soft plays, rhyme and time at the local library and Avon Valley to name a few activities!

fantastic!!

Maxine is warm and welcoming. She has the knack of getting to know children quickly and I feel confident that she really sees and cares about my child. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone!

Fantastic childminder

My daughter was cared for by Maxine for a year before she started preschool. Maxine is a very calm and caring person. She supported my daughter brilliantly through the translations of having a new baby brother and starting preschool,and I feel that because of Maxine’s support my daughter was able to deal with these positively.

Maxine works hard to built positive relationships with both children and their families which she cares for, this meant that we were able to share information and deal with any issues consistently.

Maxine took my daughter to a wide range of groups and this helped her to build her confidence with both other children and adults. Maxine would often plan activities that followed my daughters interests and would feed these back to me at the end of each day through face to face discussion and daily emails. I would look forward to the daily emails and seeing and hearing what our daughter had done.

Maxine is very professional in her approach and I always felt happy and confident to leave my daughter with her.

My Son Loves Max!

My Son Charlie has been with Max for the past year. He loves going and has never had a problem with being left. Max offers a very homely, family oriented environment. Charlie loves playing with all the toys there and never gets bored. He is always coming home with something he's made and talks about the play group he goes to with Max every week. Max is a very warm and friendly person, great with children and my son loves her.
