About Me
My name is Simone Scott(formally Brown), I am a fully registered childminder with the Care inspectorate.
I live at home with my 2 sons, 16 and 10 in the Corstorphine/Carrickknowe area of Edinburgh.
I am a very energetic fun person and love spending time with children doing lots of activities both indoor and out. I provide a home from home friendly environment for children to feel safe and secure. Some of the daily activities I do with the children are Toddler groups, parks, libraries, book bugs, and free play in the house and garden.
My Experience
Having 2 children of my own is my main experience and I believe is the best experience although I have worked with children for over 8 years now and I have completed courses such as: Introduction to childminding, Introduction to getting it right for every child (girfec), The business side of childminding, Infection prevention and control in childcare settings, child protection and a Pediactric first aid course. I intend on going on more courses in the future.
