About Me
I have my son and his three year old sharing the flat with me (Alfie is at full-time nursery he started in September) My other children have grown-up, moved out and had families of their own.
My Experience
I have been child minding for many years, first starting off looking after friends children for the odd day here and there. I liked looking after the children so much that I decided I wanted to work in this field and have never regretted it for one minute. No two days are the same and that's what I enjoy.
My Qualifications
Every year I refresh my childcare training, I am a Network childminder (which means I need to do 16hours a year of training to stay on the Network) . I have the NVQ level 3 in childcare I've also trained to work with teen mothers. I have my First Aid certificate, food Hygiene, Safeguarding and child protection etc., certificates for courses I have been on. I keep up to date with all the necessary training etc., that we as Childminders are required to have and also attend courses that interest me or benefits the children in my setting.
My Availability
I work a full-week normally from 8 to 6pm but will consider different hours to accommodate people's lifestyles etc. wherever possible. I ask for 5 weeks holiday per year and 5 sick days

My Fees
- Babysitting from £10.00 per hour
- Childminding from £7.50 per hour
Obviously my fee's depend on what hours individual children require and if it's full-time or part time etc., my prices are very reasonable. I do expect nappies and certain things to be supplied by parents.

Karol has been a fantastic childminder for our almost 2-year-old son.. We're so pleased with the care he received during his time with her this summer.
my son settled in well with Karol's warm and caring nature, and it's clear he was happy and content in her care. We truly appreciate the time she spends outdoors with the children, taking them to parks, the library, and playgrounds. It's evident that she prioritizes fresh air and fun.
We also love the detailed daily notes she provides, which give us a wonderful insight into Liam’s day. It’s a great way to stay connected and informed.
Karol is flexible, sociable, and always helpful, making her a pleasure to deal with. We wholeheartedly recommend her as a childminder.

Karol has looked after my little girl for almost two years, since my daughter was 11 months old. From the moment I met Karol I knew she was the right childminder for us and things have been fantastic ever since. She truly does feel like a part of our family and has been so flexible, caring and adaptable along the way.
Our little girl talks about Karol and her setting even when she’s not there and she thoroughly enjoys her time with her. They are always out and about having fun every day. My daughter is treated as an individual with respect and fairness and she has really flourished under Karol’s care.
The cherry on the top is Karol’s scrapbooks which she compiles over time as she looks after your child. It’s really emotional to look back and see how your child has developed and the fun they have had along the way.
We would have no hesitation to recommend Karol to anyone looking for a childminder, it is only because we are moving out of London that things are changing. Thank you so much Karol, you have been a superstar!

Karol is an excellent childminder. My daughter looks forward to their sessions together. Karol takes time to do loads of activities with my daughter, she makes the most artistic beautiful scrap books with pictures of what they get up to. These precious books evidence all the fun things they do together Karol is thoughtful, and conscientious, and a wonderful childminder and I would highly recommend her.

Karol was a very important part of our family life when the kids were young. She cared for them two days a week. Karol was a very 'outdoorsy' person who often had them playing at the local parks or at children's centres. I found her experience with children very supportive; she was able to observe first hand the natures of my two children and to respond to them differently to help meet their needs. I found Karol became a trusted extension of our family and trust her deeply. I would certainly recommend Karol to any parent. We felt very grateful to have been able to rely on her. The kids remember her and still look at their scrap books to see what they used to get up to! Thank you Karol, from the bottom of our hearts. Naomi (Mum of Thomas and Freya and now Robin!)

Our daughter started with Karol when she was 10 months. She was a really clingy baby and our first, so we were really worried about how she’d adjust. As soon as I met Karol I knew she was the right choice, you can see how much she really cares about the children in her care. Karol went out of her way to help my daughter (and me!) settle in. In the end we had nothing to worry about, our daughter was really happy there from day one.
Our daughter stayed with Karol until she was three. She’s an extremely confident and happy child which I really credit to her time with Karol. If we had stayed in London I would absolutely have sent our second child to Karol too. She’s wonderful with the children, really flexible and a really lovely woman generally.

Karol starting looking after our son just before his first birthday - he's now over two. He loves the days he spends with her! Karol provides excellent care - they always go out to playgroups or the park for adventures - well equipped whatever the weather. He is always really well fed and given so much love and care.
Karol has been our childminder throughout the Covid-19 pandemic (apart from the pause when early years facilities closed), and she has been a lifeline for our family. She takes care of our son like he's one of her own family, and has offered us all so much support.
Karol is energetic, thoughtful, kind, and provides amazing care for the children she looks after.

As a nervous first time mum who was going back to work, I was worried about leaving my 6 month old with someone new for the first time. I did my research and Karol's name was recommended to me several times. I could not have asked for a better childminder. She is a breath of fresh air and a bundle of positive energy. I wanted my son to be with other children and to experience different activities and he certainly did that. Karol took him to play centres and parks and he was involved in all sorts of activities like music and storytelling as well as art, nature activities and generally playing. She also knows when it is important to have a quiet afternoon. She is experienced and knowledgeable and I wholeheartedly would recommend her.

Karol was my childminder for 3 years when I lived in London, she looked after my daughter 7.30am - 5pm Mon-Fri from the age of 11 months. She was not only a fantastic childminder, my daughter thrived in her care - Karol would take her to all sorts of exciting activities, encouraged her socially but also had clear boundaries and expectations of her; but Karol was also very supportive of me as a young mum. She is a very generous, warm person.
I would have no hesitation in recommending Karol to anyone, she is faultlessly reliable and I was 100% confident at all times leaving my daughter with her.
I was really sad to say goodbye to Karol, not only as a childminder, but also personally, as she was a huge part of mine and my daughter's life for 3 years. If I lived in London I would still have Karol as my childminder, she is brilliant.

Karol looked after my two girls for several days a week over a couple of years, so we got to know each other well. I can't fault her. She was always absolutely reliable, always friendly, affectionate and diligent in caring for my girls. Each day she would take them to local parks and playschemes so that they had plenty to do and plenty of excercise. Her flat was always spotless and she had a relaxed and easy manner. I always felt confident the girls were in safe hands. Thank you so much Karol. We wish you all the best!

I couldn't have managed without Karol and I am almost sad my boys are now too old to go! I met Karol when she was looking after other children after school and I admired the kind, gentle but firm way she cared for the children and nagged her regularly to take my son too. She then looked after my younger two sons from an earlier age. She cared for all three until they were eleven. Karol was totally reliable, she was very flexible and brilliant in any crisis. There were times when I was late because of my work as an NHS doctor and she was always so kind. The children were fully entertained and there was always fun outings and activities such as arts and crafts and baking. Her home was child centred and clean and my children ate well there. She managed vegararian diets, washable nappies, illness and boisterous boys ( one particularly boisterous) without batting an eye. She became a friend whose advice(when I asked) about children was wise, supportive and kind. I can very highly recommend her as a childminder.
