My Requirements
I am looking for a sometimes babysitter, someone who can stay overnight on the odd occasion, provide care during the week in the afternoons adhoc, though this might become regular if I return to work, someone older and experienced.
You will be providing care for a child who has intellectual disabilities.
He is 14 years old but mentally he is 3/4. He is a loving, friendly boy who loves playing board games, snap, baking, drawing, painting.
He lacks understanding of what is dangerous etc, just like a toddler.
The care needs to be provided in our own home as that’s easiest for my son.
A DBS will be necessary but I can sort this out if you do not have one.
