About Me
Hi my name is Patty I am a registered childminder in the Bishopbriggs area of Glasgow. I am registered with SCSWIS; the governing body for care services in Scotland. I live with my husband Eddie and we have two adult sons. I have been childminding for 26 years and still love my job. i encourage parents to visit me with their children a couple of times then have a settling in period so the child feels safe and happy in my home. We go to toddler groups 3 days a week and make use of our local parks / library etc. I rotate my toys on a regular basis to try and keep the children stimulated through play. we read books and sing nursery rhymes etc.
My Experience
I have been childminding full time for 26 years and looked after many children from 5 months to 14years and they still come and visit.
My Qualifications
I have my first aid certificate, food hygiene have done various courses on child
protection, birth to 3years,triple P level 4
Hurting others,Tantrums
Inspection reports available grade 5 full clean driving licence + car with appropriate car seats.

I have know Patty since i was a child myself, and seen how good she was with the children she looked after. I couldn't think of a better person to look after my 2 children. Patty looked after my son from the age of six months five days a week and my daughter from 9 months four days a week. Currently my children are looked after 4 days a week and I am extremely happy with the standard of care Patty provides. Patty offers a safe and secure environment for my children and the other children she cares for.
Patty encourages learning through play and always provides fun activities that help to stimulate the children . This includes trips to the Local Park and playgroups. I would strongly recommend Patty as a childminder, She is friendly, approachable, accommodating and great with kids!
