I’m Kayleigh. I’m 26 years old and have ten years of experience working in childcare. I enjoy travelling and exploring various countries and cities all over the world. In my spare time, I enjoy reading and listening to music. I am very creative and spend a lot of time baking, cross-stitching, sewing clothes and various projects using my Cricut machine. I volunteer with two local Girlguiding groups where I am a qualified leader at both a Rainbow and a Guide unit.
My Experience
During my 10 years of working in the Early Learning and Childcare sector, I have gained experience working in a variety of childcare and school settings, including private, public and ASN provisions. I have worked with children of all ages, from babies to 16-year-olds, in both professional and voluntary capacities. I have experience supporting children with additional support needs, including ASD, ADHD, visual impairments and cerebral palsy. I have my Level 3 in SSCYP (Social Services Children and Young People). I am currently studying for the last unit of my BA in Childhood Practice, and I will qualify in the summer of this year.
