About Me
Hiya my name is Amy I have worked with children from the age of 6weeks up until 12years for the past 16years in private day nurseries and now as a childminder working from home.
We are very lucky to live very close to several different parks so even on not so warm days we can wrap up warm and go on a nature trail.
My Experience
I have a little girl of my own who is 12 years old.
I have worked with in nursery settings for over twelve years and the age ranges have been from six weeks up until twelve years of age.

My Availability
As a single working mum myself I know how hard it is to find child care around your working days which is why I made the career change to be a childminder to try and help other parents/careers with the often difficult shift patterns. I can be flexible with my hours and my days to suit every individual need.
I am also able to take children to and from there activities as and when needed to.

My Fees
- Childminding from £4.50 per hour
My daily rates Monday to Friday are £45 for 7am till 6pm
I do start earlier than 7am at an hourly rate of £7 an hour
School holiday care is £25 a day
Sibling discount is available
I do term time only contracts as well as all year round contracts

We are incredibly grateful for the care and support Amy has provided for our son since he was just 9 months old. Over the past two years, she has played an essential role in his development, creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that has allowed him to flourish. Thanks to her dedication and expertise, he has hit all of his two-year-old developmental milestones.
His communication skills have significantly improved under Amy's care, and it's clear that she has put in the effort to encourage his speech and social interactions in a fun and engaging way. She’s always been responsive to his needs and has created an atmosphere where he feels safe, happy, and excited to learn.
It’s been wonderful to see our son thrive and grow in Amy's care. We truly appreciate her patience, creativity, and commitment to his well-being. She has been an incredible influence on his early years, and we’re so thankful to have found such a wonderful childminder.

Amy is fantastic! My daughter loves attending the setting and seeing her friends she has made at Amy’s setting - the little ducklings and loves it. When my daughter was 6 months old she got diagnosed with Kawasaki disease. Amy was so kind and reassuring me with photos of leahna throughout the day which was lovely.
I know when I drop leahna off she’s going to have a brilliant time as they go out and stay in the setting doing variety of different activities having lots of fun. I would recommend her to anyone. Amy’s so kind and caring and easy to talk to.

Finding a childminder was a little daunting for me as a parent, I was recommended to contact Amy from multiple friends and I can honestly say I couldn't if chosen anyone better!
Amy has been so welcoming to me and laylah and from the minute we met her I felt relieved and reassured that laylah was in be best hands!! Laylah has had the best time going on trips to the cinema, play centre and the farm she Definitely didn't want to come home!
I can't recommend amy enough to any parent looking for a safe and warm loving home for there child to be welcomed into and entertained!!
Thank you so much for making me feel at ease knowing laylah is in the safest hands!

Amy looked after our little girl for 2 years. Our daughter developed in many of areas of her development and Amy ensured she planned personalised and unique activities for our little one to enjoy around her interests and developmental needs. Amy ensures she gets to know your child thoroughly and the bond they had was amazing. Amy sends regular updates through out the day including lots of photos that were always really reassuring to know what your child is doing and how they’ve been. Amy adapted her practice to ensure our daughter, who it was determined has additional needs especially sensory and communication needs, to ensure she was never left out and able to relax and enjoy her time in the setting and out in the community. We never doubted Amy’s skills and abilities to meet all our child’s needs and we would highly recommend her to anyone seeking a friendly, caring, adaptable and professional person to look after their child. We are so thankful to Amy and enjoyed getting to know her as a person as well as a childcare worker. Our daughter and ourselves can’t thank Amy enough and have made happy memories we will cherish forever.

Amy is absolutely brilliant, and our little boy loves to go there. He is there 3 days a week and has improved in all aspects of his development since starting with Amy. She sends updates and pictures throughout the day which is lovely to see throughout the day, and she is so approachable. 10/10 would recommend to anyone.

My son loves going to Amy's hes there during school holidays and looks forward to it everytime.
She always has days packed with activities so I know hes very active whilst there. She always sends photos and updates during the day so I know what hes doing. Hes always excited to go back the next day and loves playing with the other children hes never ready to come home when I go to pick him up. Always updated with what the next school holiday involves amazing child care and never a second thought leaving him there. Caring and loving environment wouldnt see him any where elts. Fab child care

Amy has always been caring and welcoming to both of my girls and me - nothing is ever too much for her and she can always be relied on - even last minute or in an emergency she will always help out!!
She keeps the children engaged, interested and busy all day long doing many different activities with them, my youngest daughter has the best nights sleep after a day in Amy’s care! My kids both love it at Amys and have often said her Sunday dinners the best 😂
Amy is fun and kind and the kids of all ages just love her! She has a school aged daughter herself and she is also vey kind and has a lovely caring, thoughtful nature and she makes all the children her mum cares for feel very welcome in her home and you can see she genuinely really enjoys the other children’s company.
I would recommend Amy most definitely

Amy’s care and attention that is provided is priceless. I have a 6 year old boy and a 4 year old girl that Amy cares for, like her own, in the school holidays. Amy encourages out door and creative play, and being at Amy’s is like home from home for my kids. She’s warm and reliable and has a fantastic little girl that is a credit to her skills and warmth with children

Amy has been amazing with both my children from many years now. She is commited to providing the best care for all children. Both my children have been in Amy's care for many years during the day and during holidays on and off. Her abilities are endless as she accommodates both my daughter, who is now 11, and her young brother. Amy provides such variety of different activities through the day -indoors and outdoors. Both love going to her.

Amy has cared for my daughter since she was 1 year old and I wouldn't trust anybody else to look after my children. Amy has filled my daughter with confidence, brought her out of her shell and treats her like family. My daughter is 4 now and goes to Amy during school holidays and regularly asks me when she next gets to go. I cannot recommend her enough, days are filled with outdoor play, Amy actively encourages the children to enjoy being outdoors in all weathers, the children love it and they always have plenty of activities to look forward to, be it trips out, crafts, baking...the list goes on. I class Amy as a friend for life and I am excited for my other daughter to start with her in the new year.
